It will take the place of rental car agency counters in the terminal and rental car lots around the airport.

The people-mover, called a SkyTrain, will go from the airport to the Georgia International Convention Center and then onto the rental car center. It will replace rental car shuttles and is separate from the people-mover that takes passengers from the terminal to concourses.

Equal Business Construction Review – April 2006

Intouch Telecommunications, Inc. provided the Association of Black Cardiologist International Library, Research and Conference Center network infrastructure. The installation of the network cable infrastructure assures enough bandwidth to support VOIP (voice over the internet) and large file data requirements, using gigabit switches over fiber optic cable to extend the network throughout the 40,000 sq.ft. building facility.

The Association of Black Cardiologist (ABC) opened its International Library, Research and Conference Center in February. The facility is located on Hunter Road in Southwest Atlanta. Scientist and health care providers worldwide who care for culturally diverse populations suffering from cardiovascular disease, now have a facility in South Fulton where they can study, exchange ideas and conduct research on this leading killer of African-Americans according to Dr. Paul Underwood, President of ABC.
